@silverseams@mastodon.art I am so glad people are getting the memo about the seven-colour rainbow. If I didn't know better I would have considered it a dogwhistle to use it already
@Anke @silverseams@mastodon.art mostly it's a lack of awareness of the pride rainbow being six, but also it was christianity that shoehorned in seven colours to begin with
@Anke @silverseams@mastodon.art Like, in any other context 7 colours is nbd, but when it's being presented as a pride thing, it's has the potential to read as a lot worse than it actually is (merely being, again, lack of awareness or understanding) by that fact
