There's a lot of projects that sound like a lot of fun to make, but actually doing them to a useful degree comes with a time commitment that's too big for me.

Tilemap Town was cool, but actually moderating it and trying to build a community for it is a huge thing.

Game creation tools seem neat to make, but I don't want to be in a position where people rely on me and I become tech support forever.

FPGA stuff is neat, but writing enough software to make any hardware I make useful is too much.

@NovaSquirrel yee, some of these things really shouldn't be tackled alone unless you know you can put all that energy into it

@elfi Yeah originally I was hoping that if I started something off then that would get things moving and I wouldn't remain alone, but that hasn't really happened.

So that's going to be an influence in the kinds of projects I decide to try doing. I'm okay with that though, I'd benefit from focusing more on fewer ideas.
