Altair announced shutdown today, a couple of weeks shy of their pushed-back launch date.

I kind of expected that. When they missed their first deadline they started talking about how their business plan wasn't going to work and they were quickly pivoting to an alternative; they never disclosed what that alternative was.

Running a Twitch competitor is really, really hard and there's a reason why only Fortune 100 companies seem to be doing it, and most of even those fail.

Damn though.
