i love that "there doesnt appear to currently be a use for this item" for elden ring absolutely means people havent found out how to use it to get something from it somewhere because that's how fromsoft games are. they want you to miss things and despite it meaning dev time potentially "wasted" they take that sacrifice even if only 1% of players will ever find it out on their own or even witness it. that kind of game magic is so difficult to find nowadays because it's such a risk for the studio.
@root Of course, then there are the few items that Miyazaki throws in purely to screw with people expecting everything to have a use somewhere, I wholly expect a couple in this game
