3d printer nerds; what do you do with your failed/broken prints? Is there like, someone I can send them to that can grind them down and recycle them into filament?

@rgegriff I do resin prints where reuse is much more limited (at best I can kitbash miniatures out of what survived the printing process), but I do know it is possible to reprocess FDM prints back into filament on a limited basis, and there are kits for recycling and extruding filament from old prints, though the quality of the plastic degrades so it's best to mix it with fresh plastic pellets

@elfi Yea, I have seen kits like filibot, but they are a bit pricey and take up a lot of space and I don't produce enough print waste to make it worth the investment;
but I would totally be willing to donate my scrap to someone who DOES have something like that; just to keep it out of the landfill

@rgegriff ah yeah, in that case best I can do is boost for you, might be worth checking out if there are any makerspaces in your neighbourhood and talking with other folks there to see if they have anything set up
