@trysdyn oh yeah, pipewire, right? I ran into it before my surgery and had no time or inclination to set it up, but idk, maybe it will work better than the others! still, that one xkcd about competing standards comes to mind
@elfi Pulse was doing something Bad with AD2P and making my speakers let out the magic smoke until I completely power cycled both ends.
Pipewire at least doesn't do that, and on arch was just install and relog. So meh.
