speaking of nintendo doing things that suck and we don't like them, here is today's yeet! i tried the game builder garage demo
i was a lot more forgiving and positive about it while recording the video, but i have since learned that many of the limitations i ran into were not demo-exclusive limitations 
nintendo are bad at doing things and it is upsetting 
just gonna drop a disclaimer here: i don't like game builder garage, but don't let that dissuade you from checking it out if you're interested in learning game dev
i'm a professional software developer and i have pretty high standards for development tooling, so i'm naturally very critical of these kinds of tools
but if you're just getting into programming and game development, the way it's structured might actually rly help you out
so please ignore me and give the demo a peek if you're interested
