@elfi i haven't actually played it, but my housemate picked it up expecting something similar to octopath traveler and was wildly disappointed
she got burnt out by the boss battles mostly? unlike in octopath, the enemies in bravely default have access to the same "charge up for a few turns and then boost your action" thing that the player uses, and that made battles an unending grindy mess. at least the way she was playing. maybe there are other ways to play it, idk
