There's a lot of fancy poetic reasons I've given to teachers about why I get into art and it's entirely because "I binge read ADVENTURERS! once" didn't track well with professors who don't know what a webcomic is and have sway over my grades
There were a lot of really high effort beautifully illustrated webcomics in the early 2000s and pretty much none of them had as much influence on my gay ass as the ones that updated ten times a day drawn on napkin paper and yes I'm admitting to having read Dominic Deegan a lot
