@Facet @elfi I wish the panic would be greater. Discord is frightfully insecure and rife with abuses, and its business model intends it to be bought out at some point. I've been moving folks over to Matrix – it's not on par with features but it's surprisingly close.

@flickerblink @elfi I want out of Discord as much as anyone. I've got friends with a close eye on Matrix adoption myself. And I'm not trying to say we should not worry about Discord becoming a problem and stick to it, either. All I'm trying to convey is that the telephoning and absolute-sounding articles about the buyout are all way out of proportion.
