I would love to play an RPG where the wildlife doesn't exist only to attack you.

Where they're up to their natural behaviours -- or fantastical ones.

Where they are wary and you need to signal correctly to avoid them attacking or running away.

@vicorva I had some ideas written up for a game that did this, so you're not alone in wanting it

@vicorva It would be an PS1-style action RPG about a fairy communing with aspects of nature and the spirits inhabiting ruins of past fae civilizations to rediscover her history and and try to find answers to the plight of her home--a world hidden away in the dream of a sleeping goddess who grows restless over her exiled sister!

@elfi 😮 :blobCatAww: 💙 ✨ !! That is 100% amazing omg I would play the crap outta that game

@vicorva I do really wanna make it one day! But I'm trying to set smaller goals for myself first. Like a cute platformer about round fuzzy moths that can roll up into a ball!

@elfi ahh that sounds adorable though! I would def play that as well!

And I completely get that, about setting smaller goals! I recently started my first foray into RPG Maker and it was like 'okay this could get out of hand *really* quickly if I don't keep it super small'. And that was with something where the resources and mechanics are already built-in!

@vicorva Yeee, lofty goals and scope creep are both so dangerous x_x I've had so many canned projects because of those two and struggles with keeping momentum/motivation

@elfi hard same, I live in fear of scope creep now

at least it's all experience that will go into the project that gets finished though!
