Not perfect, but it's good enough for me to stop feeling horrified. It kind of rides the line between "I'm sorry my joke was shitty and bad" and "I'm sorry it offended", but I'm willing to give some leeway there considering the language gap.

@elfi it's definitely not ok that "old man wants to date very young women" is still a punchline anywhere, though it's definitely even more common in Japan (how much media has lecherous old men being portrayed as lovable rascals?)
