i own the rarest drop mount in ff14: nightmare: a black unicorn. i use it on my crafting and gathering jobs when i'm doing beast tribe stuff to level just because i get so many angry private messages from gamers who are jealous lol 💅
@wintgenstein wait, it's the rarest one? Fuck, that thing dropped like three times out of six while I was farming garuda EX at one point
@elfi yeah its less than a 1% drop on garuda, titan, and ifirit EX. the other trial mounts are 1%
@elfi actually wait--the patch after they're current they get buffed from a 1% i'm not sure what the adjusted numbers are--nightmare never got adjusted
@wintgenstein ooohhhhh. That explains why I see the mount whistles pop up all the time.
but still I feel like that is improbable enough that I'm surprised a GM didn't drop into the duty and say "yo what the fuck"
