been trying to get Talon working and try out some accessibility tech because finger, but my microphone won't register in pipewire? aka I have no idea what I'm missing. the mic on my laptop isn't registering and though my Bluetooth headset connects, I can't seem to test the microphone??

@aynish ah, it might also be possible that the bluetooth audio profile doesn't support recording (it's for listening only)
can you see if there's an option to change the profile in your bluetooth adapter settings on your PC?
@epilys I'm using Bluetoothctl and haven't configured any profiles, but I'll look into this! thank you!
arecord -l does show one device, but I've been unable to capture from it, thus far
@ckie @epilys I figured it out! I needed to connect over the hfp profile instead of a2dp. blueman let's me set this profile :))
would love to write a script where I can toggle this easily
