my apartment building is having some contractors coming and going to replace water pipes and every time they've been here they turn off my hallway light on the switch even though it's on a motion sensor.

Now this wouldn't be a problem if I just remembered to turn it back on, but I don't notice until it's like 11 pm and super dark and my brain goes "there's usually light here??"
