I want one of those plastic containers that they have in the movies for nuclear launch codes that you have to break open before you can read them so I can put my birth name inside and give them to people I trust for use in case of an emergency.
See, I don't actually have anyone I'd practically give that too, but I have thought about how, like, if I got hit by a mass transit conveyance and ended up unconscious in a hospital, I'd probably be there under my legal name, so if someone didn't know it and needed to track me down, they'd run into a difficulty.

@Dee maybe i'd if it tried to ping me about it first to confirm before letting the plastic be broken

@ckie See, at that point I might as well have a dead enby's switch that releases an encrypted file that requires several people to come together to decrypt it via some secret sharing scheme...

But yes, I was thinking of this being a thing I would give to a person I trust not to abuse it in some way. The plastic is more of a thing for them, rather than against them. As in, they don't have to worry about it normally, but have my implicit permission to use it if they really have to. But, like I said, it's hypothetical, because I don't have people like that.

Also, you can find my birth name if you look with a moderate amount of effort, so it's not a terrible secret.

@Dee i was thinking i'd put some ssh keys to everything and some thoughts
