yt-dlp why do you block on sponsorblock queries, you could be downloading the video the whole time you're doing that and instead I got distracted and forgot I was gonna watch it
@Dee well it does video the video with videoing (the video gets streamed instead of downloading and playing separately)
@ckie yeah, I'm pretty sure it uses yt-dlp on the backend anyway. it might skip yt-dlp config (which is what enables sponsorblock queries for me) when using yt-dlp, but then I don't have sponsorblock, unless I make mpv itself query sponsorblock (which it then presumably could do concurrently?)
I used to do this through smplayer wrapping mpv before, but I had some problems with it that I don't recall the specifics of now
