@ckie @twinkle_mouse essentially they give customers using the architectures full freedom to add stuff on the architecture as they wish (based on premade core models), the issue is that their compiler for at least some of said chips is closed source (eg all of the hifi line of DSPs) and if you use any random compiler/toolchain you’re not gonna be able to use a lot of the features
