That conflicting feeling when you never quite liked your native language (German in my case sshhhh it's a secret!) and then your girlfriends are like "it's one of my favorite languages to hear and read", "I like hearing you speak German in voice chat when you talk to someone else IRL" and "why is your flirting 100x more effective in German".
