Let's stop treating vaguely medieval Europe as a neutral or default setting. Call your European fantasy European. If you want it to be generic examine that and step a little bit away from the assumptions layered in the paneuropean vaguely white base.

If you're a self-taught #indiedev I wholeheartedly recommend reading through https://gameprogrammingpatterns.com/ if you haven't yet. They may not necessarily be 100% compatible with your style since they're not one-size-fits-all, but they add a lot of useful tools to your kit.

Being self-taught makes one miss a lot of the finer patterns in programming, but it's easy to pick up on them once you know where to look.

I may or may not be re-opening commissions soon, and I could use recent samples lol
