like yeah - the bourgeoisie being a revolutionary class that subsequently became a reactionary class is like marxist history 101 this writer talks a lot about class struggle for someone who doesn't know shit about it

But if we are being serious, I don't take that "Marx failed to consider..." phrasing seriously in any case, because plenty of other Marxists have had just about everything to say about anything since he died. So what is the point in pointing that out, unless you just want to admit you only ever read Marx like some kind of orthodox Marxist literalist.

@thufie i'm definitely not a fan of literalism (marx was wrong about things literally all the time), but i would say in the case of OP that making sweeping claims about the failures of writers that you'te criticising, while also being totally unaware of what those writers said on the matter, is embarrassing!
