Thinking a lot about what it means to refute whiteness.
Some of my resentment comes from doing anarchist faggotry but most of it came to me through Islam.
To me, Islam is incompatible with whiteness, its values and its culture. It commands a striving for (re-)indigination. It dissolves all the things our society has fed into us about nations, identity and what it means to be a human being.

When we pray, we connect to the entire Umma. By facing the Kaaba in prayer and meditation, we feel it. The dissolving of our egos under one great unity.

It has become increasingly difficult for me to talk about me as white. Yes I have white skin, privilege and socialization. None of that is in my power to alter, but as my heart feels connected to something greater, whiteness, the abstract concept, feels like a strange other.

@ranja christian secular society has an intense whiteness to it

@thufie
Yes. They call it secularism but what they mean is to replace spiritualism with idolatry, worshipping their material gods. Idols that are tools of power and violence.
