The ease through which the ultimate horror of the 20th century, the Holocaust, has been weaponised by so many reputable organisations (incl Holocaust education ones) to justify Israel’s ongoing genocide tells me that most people in positions of influence have simply concluded that the Holocaust can be cheapened for cynical political purposes, which is seriously harming the very important work of continuing to actually study the Holocaust’s repercussions
In all of this Jewish agency is being erased in the name of ‘fighting antisemitism’. Jews critical of Israel are rendered invisible and most people speaking on behalf of ‘fighting antisemitism’ are non-Jews who found their new clash of civs discourse to go after racialised Muslims. The profound cynicism deployed here will hurt us all, Jews and non-Jews.

@ayoub these "clash of civilizations" dipshits need to start meeting some serious resistance or else the world is going to suck for anyone not christian or even "not christian enough". Elements of the right wing in the west are beginning to popularize reappropriation of Crusader-era identities and 'orders' and seemingly nobody is noticing.
