There is literally no fucking reason for you to stay up to date with US political theater. It is completely inactionable and unhealthy for many people who live here, let alone people who don't live here.

There is no other place where foreigners will feel the need to even ask themselves if it is okay to "not stay informed". There really isn't much exceptional about the US and you shouldn't give loud news-obsessed Americans 8 chances to learn to tag their daily fear either. Just filter it, just block it.
