Computers, need technical help

@kana I've always used the tool called "rufus" rufus.ie/

needs a windows computer to do this successfully

i've not gotten a bootable windows usb going from a non-windows install as of yet

re: Computers, need technical help

@tinytoydragon @kana Aye you need to use Rufus. Also of note, Windows XP/7 doesn't play well with GPT (only Windows 7 Enterprise does, AFAIK).

@katnjia @tinytoydragon @kana@todon.nl XP doesn't support GPT, but windows 7 does. It will only let you install to a GPT drive if you boot to the installer as UEFI though, not MBR. Vista supported GPT too, but I think it had some issues with it.
