My 1 month old Dell inspirion laptop is kaput. Battery drained, will not take a charge. I am saddened. I'll take it back to the vendor after we visit the clinic for collagen treatments (the it mall being just 3 stops on the train from the clinic)

@theonefreeman I'm embarrassed to say the entire issue was caused by a squirrely electric socket. I bought a high end power strip with surge suppression, and now all is well
