Looks like I'm going to actually have to sell my property and move to stay afloat so does anyone in a trans safe state/area (or at least a place where I can get my estrogen on Medicaid or otherwise free) need a roommate? I've tried to make things work here for 2 years and there's just no jobs that pay worth a damn that are actually hiring.

#mutualaid

I hate to treat this as a mutual aid post but it kind of is. I need help. I need to not be broke. I need a place to live. I need electrolysis. I need to buy new clothes soon. I can't do any of that making $12.75 an hour where I currently live.

@sandra so far as I've heard, Minnesota's public health insurance/low income health insurance covers gender care fully.

I can check with my gf, but I don't think she's had a copay for hormones, therapy, psych stuff, or most surgeries. I don't know if ffs/implants are fully covered, but I've heard laser and such can be, if you go through a bit of a process for getting it reimbursed and such.

Not exactly an answer for your question, but it might be a place to start a search? Most of the queers looking for roomies I know up here are immuno sensitive, so they're pretty cautious about living with folks they haven't met yet.

@starless @sandra gonna repeat myself slightly here and say I did chime in as well about Minnesota care, since I'm on that myself. I don't pay for my meds or my appointments.
