@apisashla we are very open to non developers, though sometimes we do talk a lot about esoteric software stuff. I don't follow all of that talk, myself, either, even though I work in software. We try to keep the super technical stuff in -me-learn or other side channels, but it kinda gets everywhere. 😅

So long as you're comfy running into kinda dense convos sometimes and scrolling past em, you should have a pretty good time. We have lots of folks who are students, self taught, etc etc.

We call ourselves a computer club as in "a group of people who like computers" rather than as in "a group of people who are good at computers". That distinction is pretty important, since as soon as people start caring about 'technological merit', you can get people who are mean, but smart, and are thus tolerated.
