if anyone knows why Dolphin (emulator) randomly decides to tank the framerate for like 5 seconds at a time please let me know its frustrating for trying to speedrun and lab Spyhunter on gamecube
what ive tried:
reboot computer
yell at discord's horrible video capture that tends to cause microstutters (it actually wasnt its fault this time
switch from opengl to vulkan
turn on hybrid ubershaders (that just destroyed my framerate in a normal way)
demand all shaders be compiled before loading the game (both in conjunction with hybrid and not in conjunction with hybrid)
my i7 is such a good computer rock it does gamecube so fabulously and ps2 is pretty good too!
i will give the lappy lidpats when i go boot it up today
being nice to your computer makes it run happier i think
pcsx2 did do this for a bit but it mustve been shader stuff cause it stopped after a while of playing (spyhunter 2)
might have to jump over to the ps2 version of Spyhunter
