I was playing an original (delux) Space Invaders machine at a retro arcade. The music was thumping. I was tapping my foot and hitting fire to the rythm. And I was like "I get it now."
@bunny_jane have you played space invaders extreme?
its very musical, espcially the second game on ds where all the sound effects are tuned to the music on the level.
@bunny_jane if you decide to, MelonDS is a good option for Desktop and Drastic is a good option on android. i think theres one on ios but i cant remember the name (might be called Delta?)
@bunny_jane i think melonds also has an android version but ive only used that for Picross so i dont actually know how it performs
@lyncia its literally the only DS game that is tempting me towards emulating thr DS
