Danmaku Unlimited 4 was announced recently by Sunny Tam, and is available to wishlish on Steam. The standout feature seems to be a blade attack very similar to Akai Katana Shin, with most of the visual theming remaining the same with the previous entries, just in more quality.

Earthion is being patched on Steam to address complaints about bullet visibility. The ROM file was decrypted in about one day from the initial release and has entered online circulation, but you may wish to wait for the Genesis cart version to release as it will most likely contain all the bugfixes and adjustments from the Steam release. Community thoughts on the game that I've seen are seemingly quite mixed.
While I'm here posting I still don't recommend Touhou 20: Fossilized Wonders due to use of generative AI (Adobe Firefly) for some stage background elements. If you want a new Touhou to play, why not try
