i opened firefox on Bowtie (the homelab machine) and I think it started throttling the hdd and ran like molasses are you serious has it gotten this bad?
i saw it autosuggest gnome DE during install and I shot back with "motherfucker you are on a netbook, the answer is always no"
like poor thing choked to death loading the browser
wtf are we doing with browsers that causes such massive issue
like this isnt some old windows xp laptop its a 64bit netbook that previously ran Windows 7
my immediate reaction was "add ssd to shopping list"
this is on a fresh debian install btw
