I declare today to be Dolly Parton appreciation day!

(So declared because I saw a hoax death post and am happy to report she is alive and being awesome.)

Dolly Parton wrote 'Jolene' and 'I Will Always Love You' (famously covered by Whitney Huston) on the same day!

I wish everyone reading this a day that creative (but hopefully with less heartbreak).

Dolly Parton once secretly entered a drag queen Dolly Parton lookalike contest.

She did not win.

There are persistent rumours that Dolly Parton is queer. I believe those rumours. A straight person could never reach her level of fabulous.
