So like, how bad is using swap on an SSD really? Cause apparently this laptop with 16GB of RAM and zram turned on cause Fedora had to kill Steam when I was trying to play modded RimWorld cause it has no swap, but I also don't wanna kill its SSD 😭
Like, I'm so paranoid about this that on my desktop the swap is on a secondary drive so it won't affect my primary SSD cause I spent a lot of money on that 💀
@hazelnot If you have a spare slot for an SSD then another possible option is to get a 128GB SSD or so (doesn't need to be a fast one, just any) specifically for swap, they seem to be around 10-15 EUR now

@hazelnot It might have a separate m.2 and SATA/2.5" slot in that case!
