What is the foss alternative to something like bandcamp, that still lets fans purchase music directly from an artist?
@domo bandwagon (in beta) is open source & connected to the fediverse… payment for artists isn’t there yet, but it’s on the roadmap (and afaik in active development right now) – https://bandwagon.fm/about
@joepie91 @domo yeah, cool project. i believe you're correct re: sales... also, it's not, like, a service in the way the others are; it's a static site generator geared toward music essentially. which is great, and obviously labels/collectives/communities could share hosting and whatnot, but it does feel like a distinct thing in that way.
