I have run out of books to read again!
Looking for recommendations for queer sci-fi in the broadest sense (other than Becky Chambers - I've already read all of that), particularly that which tends toward a hopeful view.
It doesn't have to be happy-go-lucky, I just don't like the "everything is doomed and misery forever" thing that especially post-apocalyptic stories tend to do.
(Bonus points if you know where to buy a DRM-free ePub for it)
@joepie91 I recently really enjoyed Novae Caelum's Stars and Green Magic series. Lots of queer and genderqueer characters in a palace intrigue plus long buried secrets sweeping epic. https://novaecaelum.com/products/the-stars-and-green-magics-ebook-bundle
@joepie91 If you are up for YA, with lots of feels then I can also recommend Naomi Kritzer's two Catnet books. It's a great found family story with thriller pacing due to the cyber aspects and most of the main characters are queer.
@joepie91 Have you read Ursula K. Le Guin's books?
@joepie91 I can also recommend Micaiah Johnson's Space Between Worlds which is an alternate universes story with a bi MC and has a lot of other themes about being "between worlds" and carving out your own space.
@joepie91 might have recommended them to you already but try @vicorva !
