@smveerman Huh. All the stores here in the center of Rosmalen (2x Jumbo, 1x Lidl) have self-checkouts and they don't seem to have these issues...

Lidl does have stock management issues nowadays but that seems to coincide with a change of manager, and predates the addition of self-checkouts
