@lilyvanilla But... have they even done that, though? Like, there's not a lot of easily findable data on this last I checked, but the data that *does* exist is the stuff in the US that eg. Strong Towns talks about and it definitely *isn't* economically viable there
@joepie91 Oh yes - for cities and local communities it isn’t. I am fully aware of that - however: car manufacturing holds significant economic power in many countries
