... if some European countries abolish DST but other countries don't, wouldn't that mean that radio-controlled time stops working? As that's, for the most part, a single signal originating from Germany.
@joepie91 Why would it stop working? The time signal includes a DST flag so it can be converted to UTC without outside info.
@joepie91 Those devices would be stuck on the wrong offset, certainly. That's not the same thing as the time signal no longer working though.
(As it happens, I do own a radio-controlled clock with an adjustable offset. No way to turn off DST though.)
