... if some European countries abolish DST but other countries don't, wouldn't that mean that radio-controlled time stops working? As that's, for the most part, a single signal originating from Germany.
@Coffee Sure, but that doesn't help you if all your devices just assume the time to be exactly the correct time and provide no relative adjustment features (which is the case for most radio-controlled clocks that I have seen)
@joepie91 Those devices would be stuck on the wrong offset, certainly. That's not the same thing as the time signal no longer working though.
(As it happens, I do own a radio-controlled clock with an adjustable offset. No way to turn off DST though.)
