We should end subsidies for plastic. And I want Albert heijn and Jumbo fined for every piece of disposal plastic they sell. Like, actively fined and shamed publicly.
Don't like it? Use wood, paper, or glass or nothing at all. This cucumber doesn't need to be plastic wrapped. What are you doing?

I'm not sure yet whether I believe that line of reasoning, especially because it fails to interrogate the impact of common supermarket policies like "always overstocking the store so that the shelves look full because that increases sales".
@joepie91 yeah, that's bullshit. In the USA we don't plastic wrap the cucumbers and its fine. Its literally fine. Put them on sale if they're at the end of their life, you greedy scum.
