@eloy I’m not sure Flash was worse than the garbage that’s shipped today. They have a bunch of the same problems. Broken/shitty/buggy replacements for perfectly good controls shipped with the browser, bloat, poor performance, breaking scrolling.
@eloy @mroach On some points, especially security, yeah. On other points... I'm not quite so sure.
Flash things didn't typically mysteriously freeze for several seconds mid-interaction, and Flash (the authoring software) made a lot of creative work accessible to a degree that the current generation of software doesn't really.
