@joepie91 it's a massive waste of money and time to be AWS certified if your organisation stops using AWS, so the employee is not exactly worried about doing things that locks them to AWS.

Of course the same could be said for Linux, Windows, kubernetes, etc. But at least using those doesn't force your organization to put basically everything onto one platform with no alternative but a huge migration cost to another provider.
