I sometimes seriously don't get the discourse. Like the criticism of technosolutionism. Isn't that the entire point of technology, that through increased understanding of the world we can use the laws of nature to solve problems and adapt our environment? What am I missing here?

@modulux The problem is less the trying to solve issues through technology, and more the doing so at the expense of other factors, often even reinventing 'solutions' in a worse way than what we already have by insisting that it be solved by technology and not in any other way.
