my mother told me that she needs to have an operation and she will be missing this week and next week and i will have to stay at home so that my little brother can be left with someone at home because my father is at work and my brothers are at school

@mynameistillian Speaking bluntly: why is it your responsibility to solve your parents' problem?
Don't get me wrong, I can understand if you *want* to take care of your little brother, but there's no reason that needs to be on *their* terms. Why not move out anyway and offer that your brother can stay over at your place for a while?

@mynameistillian Aha, that is annoying. I hadn't realized that it's far enough away for logistics to become a problem 😕
Also, somewhere in the back of my head I am growing a suspicion of your parents deliberately burdening you with chores to sabotage or delay the moving out (also re: the toot about chores earlier).
