i want to get one of those gadgets that tells me what the capabilities of any given usb cable are. how how much power delivery will it power deliver, is it a "charge only" cable, etc., by interrogating it for "e-marker" and "dash" data
there's a multitude out there. anybody have a recommendation?

@pho4cexa There are a few that are supported by sigrok, if you want to do analysis with something other than the device itself or the crappy vendor apps: https://sigrok.org/wiki/Category:Energy_meter (I have some of the RDTech units and documented the protocol there but it seems more have been added since)
