Given that I'm suffering from kidney failure, I absolutely did not expect a doctor to ever tell me "your sodium level is too low, you should eat more salty things"
I genuinely have no idea how this could happen, I guess the salt restrictions assume neurotypical folks who cheat on the restrictions or something, and they're not designed to be actually followed to the letter??
@joepie91 Nice! That might make sense; ideally they'll have tuned their directions to get the best results in the average case, so that will organically account for "just one slice of bacon will be okay on nom nom", but then in the rare case someone is actually compliant (good work, by the way! Diets are *hard*!) they'll need to adapt it.
@silvermoon82 I vividly remember asking "how can I tell when it's too low?" like a year ago, and the doctor responding "don't worry, that's really unlikely to happen"
