@marlies This is a free one (and primarily for hookups rather than long-term dating) so I'm not sure what they're hoping to gain from that, in their business model it makes more sense to make the experience nice so that people keep coming back IMO

@marlies Ah yeah no, this one long predates even the concept of smartphone apps, it's *old* and as far as I can tell a banner ad is all they have in terms of revenue

@marlies (It was kind of an early attempt at an online equivalent of gay cruising spots, unfortunately it has also inherited all of the sketchy stuff that comes with that, though at least there's some moderation nowadays)
