I have this problem where I basically refuse to take money from people who are struggling, even if it's in exchange for something, since it just feels wrong
like, back at uni, I had people all the time ask for private tutoring help and offer to pay me, and I would refuse every time. if I don't want to help, I won't, but if I do, I'm not going to ask for your money. I would just work at the uni tutoring centers so that it would get covered by tuition instead of coming out of people's pockets in addition to that
but like, right now, I am genuinely wondering if I should try to just get over this and maybe accept some freelance work. it's unlikely I'll get hired by any actual corporation to reclaim some of their money, but maybe there are people who genuinely do have the money to spend who might want to pay me
I'm still thinking right now, though

@clarfonthey (To make this explicit: this means that employers often paid several times what eg. students would pay, and everybody was aware of this, and nobody had an issue with it at all)

@joepie91 I like this idea personally
