I'm on chat with my (soon to be former) domain registrar, and they won't let me spin out an old domain to a friends' account because I refuse to download an app to hand them biometrics or a photo ID.
Is this a thing now for domain registrars? Or is this one in particular being creepy?
@joepie91 I might have to because this is bizarre. I'm going to chalk it up to a badly trained customer service rep, and hope that someone else can solve this one. Otherwise yeah, I might have to get ICANN involved.
