If there ever was a case study in "having a legal structure does not automatically safeguard your project governance", well, the #NixOS situation is probably it.
It's also quite bizarre to see people *already* rewriting history to claim that the project is failing because "it's anarchic and there is no leadership" when the hierarchical side of the project *literally is the root cause of the problem*.

@joepie91 If you have a hierarchical mindset it demands that it's always someone's fault who isn't you. Accountability causes an identity crisis for them
@joepie91 there is a tiny portion of the current problems caused by the hierarchical side of the project, but issues like "tomberek and jonringer are allowed to sealion for months while supported by their alt-right brigades" don't get solved without less hierarchy imo.
